SAKA Museum is a cultural gem located within AYANA Resort in Jimbaran, Bali. Opening to the public in early 2024, SAKA will take visitors to embark on a captivating exploration of the Balinese Day of Silence, Nyepi, and a myriad of art and cultural expressions deeply intertwined with the Balinese principle of Tri Hita Karana. As the Exhibition Manager at SAKA, you will play a pivotal role in our museum team, driving the development and execution of our exhibition strategy. This multifaceted position offers a chance to deeply engage with various aspects of exhibition development and enhancement. You will be involved in:

• Research: Spearhead research to identify potential exhibitions that resonate with our mission and audience. Collaborate in curating content that celebrates and educates about Balinese culture.
• Exhibition design and deployment: Lead the design and planning of exhibition spaces in close collaboration with curators and designers. You will be responsible for ensuring artistic and safety standards are met, and timelines are adhered to. In case of installation challenges, your role will be crucial in coordinating solutions.
• Project Management: Efficiently manage exhibition timelines, ensuring that every milestone is met. You will oversee the budget, from cost estimations to financial forecasting and tracking expenses.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience in exhibition management within a museum or cultural institution. Knowledge of lighting design is a plus.
• Experienced in interpreting curatorial vision into engaging exhibition experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• A strong track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to varying project requirements.
