Junior Associate (Business Outsourcing)

Details of the Position:

• Tax Compliance and Payroll:

  • Coordinate with clients for data and information.

  • Prepare monthly tax calculations and returns, including withholding tax, VAT and regional tax.

  • Ensure timely reporting to tax authorities.

  • Prepare annual corporate income tax calculations and returns

  • Prepare monthly payroll calculations using payroll platforms and coordinate for deliverables

  • Liaise with the tax office for status update, day-to-day inquiries, etc.

• Ad-hoc Tax Task :

  • Assist with clients onboarding process

  • Draft and prepare email on client correspondences - questions, clarifications, status updates, vendor matters, etc.

  • Research on tax topics as and when required by the team or client.

  • Assist with clients tax registration, application and other ad-hoc tax matters.

• Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals, fee quotes, agreements, and billings.

  • Engage with the finance team to follow up on billings or accounts receivables.

Requirement/Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

• Professional certifications like Brevet, CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent tax qualification are a plus.

• Proficiency in the English language is a must for communication with clients and management.

• Proficiency in Mandarin language is a plus.
