A for Effort is a tutoring center located in Jakarta, Indonesia. We offer personalized tutoring sessions specialized in international curriculums, as well as tutoring for national plus and national curriculums. Our goal is to increase students confidence in these subjects by simplifying the material and allowing them to truly understand what they are learning. With a focused niche and extensive experience with international schools, we provide personalized and tailored tutoring services to meet the needs of each student.

Role Description

A for Effort is seeking a high quality Primary / Elementary / Early Years teacher tutor to join our growing team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary. Candidates will work from our offices in South Jakarta where we provide private tutoring lessons. All lessons are taught in English, candidates should be fluent in English and comfortable teaching in English. Candidates must have experience teaching Math and English Literacy to younger students through fun and interactive teaching methods. Some experience with teaching Science concepts/experiments to younger students is preferred. This position is only applicable for candidates who can commit to a full-time position working from our offices in South Jakarta.

  • minimum bachelors degree in relevant subject field
  • at least 2-3 years experience teaching primary students in English
