Unity VFX Artist

Were looking for a highly skilled Unity VFX Artist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating realistic visual effects using Unity VFX Graph and Houdini. Requirements :

Unity VFX Graph Proficiency:

• Demonstrated expertise in creating realistic visual effects using Unity VFX Graph.
• Proven ability to design and implement a wide range of real-time visual effects, including but not limited to particle systems, shaders, and dynamic simulations.
• Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning VFX for performance on various platforms.

Houdini Mastery:

• Advanced skills in using Houdini for VFX creation and simulation.
• Strong understanding of Houdinis dynamics, particles, and pyro effects, with the ability to create complex and realistic visual elements.
• Proficient in leveraging Houdinis procedural workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity in VFX production.

Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and techniques for VFX creation and implementation.
• Solid understanding of shader programming and the ability to optimize and integrate custom shaders into Unity.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and workflow enhancement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including game developers, animators, and other artists.
• Strong communication skills to articulate creative ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

• Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the VFX and gaming industry.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and adopt new tools and techniques as needed.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to VFX creation and integration.
• Capacity to find creative solutions to achieve visual excellence within project constraints.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a VFX artist in the gaming or entertainment industry, with a track record of successful projects.
