• About the Role:

Designing and managing mine plans, which include resource extraction, drilling, and excavation, will be crucial to your work as a mining engineer. In order to optimise mining processes while maintaining safety standards and taking environmental impact considerations into account, work with multidisciplinary teams..

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive mine plans, considering factors such as ore quality, safety, and environmental impact.
• Implement strategies to optimise production efficiency and maximise resource recovery.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient resource management.
• Manage mining projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years of mining engineering work experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental ideas and principles of mining engineering
• Have good communication skills and attitude, familiar with teamwork.

• Having a valid English language certificate is a requirement, with an IELTS test score of at least 5.5 overall and no component falling below 5.0
