Head of Engineer (Indonesia)

• Lead and mentor a high-performing full-stack engineering team, fostering their growth and technical excellence while nurturing a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Collaborate synergistically with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate our visionary aspirations into a practical, actionable roadmap.
• Forge close partnerships with product, operations, and organizational leaders, championing the evolution of our technology platform to meet evolving business needs and match the dynamism of technology trends.
• Ensure seamless alignment with key business stakeholders, effectively managing resources and dismantling obstacles to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, orchestrating local and multiple offshore development teams with precision, ensuring the cohesive delivery of software on-time and within budget.
• Sustain a climate of innovation, motivating the entire team to deliver not only within timelines but also with an essence of constant creativity.

Requirements

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields with strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience. Strong plus if also knows C++ and backend well
• 3+ years of professional engineering management experience
• Programming experience and understanding of modern technology including: (ReactJS/React Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes, GCP, MongoDB, Docker)
• Experience managing cloud operations for reliability, scalability, and security in GCP/AWS
• Experience recruiting, hiring and onboarding engineering talent
• Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion
