DGM Legal Public Policy & Business Development

Safeguard the Company’s interest by providing advices on legal aspects in contractual relationships between the Company and other party(s) and complying with internal policies and applicable laws.

Main Responsibilities :

• Responsible for managing legal and regulatory risk which have impacts on company’s interests, business and strategy by:
  
  • ensuring and maintaining the Company’s awareness of any regulatory changes/updates and analysing any regulatory changes towards the Company’s interests, business and operations;
  • establishing, socialising and documenting legal and regulatory policies and procedures, and ensuring that (i) those policies and procedures comply with applicable regulatory requirements and (ii) their content is accurate and relevant; and
  • performing legal audit and self-assessment on risks and compliance of the company against regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Pre and post contract activities which include drafting, reviewing and managing agreements, correspondences, claims and other contractual matters.

• Keep abreast of law and regulation development and changes, and conduct legal research on matters which may affect the company’s business and operations activities.

• Provide day-to-day legal advice and assistance for negotiation and implementation of contracts and other arrangements entered by the company.

Requirements :

• Law degree from reputable universities
• 7-10 years legal working experience ideally in technology, financial technology or other regulated industry in Indonesia.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with Indonesian authorities.
• Have good basic understanding of the Indonesian law.
• Strong leadership, good presentation and communication skills, team player, self-starter, conscientious, thorough, tidy, capable of working in a multi-cultural environment.
• “Can Do” attitude, and the drive, resourcefulness and the ability to get tasks/deals done.
• Good planning, communication and organization skills.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law and telecommunication law. Knowledge and experience in litigation practice will be a strong plus.
• Good communication skills with high level of fluency in English and Indonesian language, both written and spoken.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
• Ability to provide legal advice and draft contracts that address complex and difficult issues.
