Textile Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Textile Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about textile manufacturing processes, possess strong technical knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to design, develop, and improve textile materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Conduct research to develop new textile materials, technologies, and processes. Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and innovations.
• Product Design: Collaborate with design teams to develop textile products that meet functional, aesthetic, and performance requirements. Utilize CAD software for designing and prototyping.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement solutions to enhance production processes.
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure that textile products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Conduct testing and evaluation of materials and products.
• Material Selection: Evaluate different textile fibers, yarns, and fabrics for their suitability in specific applications. Determine the best materials based on factors such as durability, comfort, and performance.
• Sustainability: Explore sustainable practices and technologies in textile manufacturing. Develop eco-friendly materials and processes to minimize environmental impact.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, and sales to coordinate product development and commercialization efforts.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of research activities, experiments, test results, and project milestones. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field would be a bonus.
• Previous experience in textile manufacturing, product development, or research and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and prototyping.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the textile industry.
• Creative thinking and a passion for innovation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rp1,657,521 - Rp9,362,638 per year
