BACKGROUND

Save The Children Indonesia is undergoing a transformation to enhance its humanitarian, safety, and security operations by implementing an integrated system. This system aims to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and facilitate collaboration across various departments.

OBJECTIVES

• To integrate three essential systems - Humanitarian Response, Safety & Security, and Resilience - into a unified platform to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• To digitize and automate manual processes related to emergency preparedness, response planning, daily updates, reporting, and handover procedures across the integrated systems.
• To facilitate seamless collaboration, data connectivity, and communication among teams involved in humanitarian, safety & security, and resilience operations.
• To ensure accurate and timely reporting, decision-making, and coordination among stakeholders through the integrated system.
To deploy a user-friendly and deployable system that meets the diverse needs of all stakeholders involved in humanitarian, safety & security, and resilience operations.

DELIVERERABLES

The integrated system expected to accommodate three main features:

• Humanitarian Response: Including Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP), Contingency Plan, Alert, Response Declaration & Announcement, Response Plan, Partner Kick-off, Daily Updates, Sitrep, Monthly Report, Quarterly Report, Final Report, and Handover report.
• Safety & Security: Encompassing Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Program Adaptive Plan, Alert, Crisis Declaration & Announcement, Implementation of Program Adaptive Plan, Partner Kick-off, Daily Updates, Sitrep, Monthly Report, Quarterly Report, Final Report, and Handover report.
Resilience: Incorporating HDP Nexus Plan, RFP Announcement, Alert, Go/No Go Decision, Proposal Development Plan, Proposal Finalization, Awarded Status, Partner Kick-off, Daily/Weekly Updates, Sitrep, Monthly Report, Quarterly Report, Final Report, and Handover report.

PRINCIPAL OF IMPLEMENTATION

TECHNOLOGY

The choice of technology is highly crucial as it significantly impacts our ability to develop and maintain systems. Given that systems must be easily adaptable to meet organizational needs, including the ease of finding programmers, the following technologies have been selected for current use:

EXPECTED PROGRAMMER

The programmer must demonstrate the following qualifications:

‘Essential’

• Has degree or qualifications in Computer Sciences or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in application/database development, application security and
• maintenance.
• Experience in PHP, Laravel, Vue JS and Git.
• Experience with cloud technologies or Azure/AWS/Google cloud for application deployment
• and management.
• Thorough understanding of API concepts and JSON for effective integration and
• communication between applications.
• Perform detail-oriented and self-motivated works.
• Perform positive attitude, team player, able to work directly with clients and able to work in
• difficult and challenging environments.
• Ability to perform maturity and professional ability to handle sensitive information and
• ability to respect the confidentiality of such information while working with SC after the
• contract ends.

‘Desirable’

• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Exposure to the non-profit sector and/or developing countries is preferred.
• Experience in web application development.
