Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:


  • Full Time 40 of hours per week


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time 4 weeks of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Under the direct supervision of Visitor Support Unit (VSU) Director, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the administrative requirements of the Visitor Support Unit (VSU) involving Travel, airport, visa, hotel and facility reservations for the Bi-Mission. Assists the GSO and VSU Director with high level administrative duties, i.e. VIP visits, Major Mission Events. Incumbent provides Official Residence Support (Mirasole Compound) and is responsible for maintaining and processing reservations and arrangements for the Mirasole Compound, particularly for Ambassador visits and representational events held there. Maintain GSO/Travel VSU intranet website/SharePoint, develop and update content and related policies and SOPs. Publish and disseminate to the Bi-Mission communities as necessary.


Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years administrative work experience is required in a Customer Service field (i.e Travel/Transportation/hospitality industry, hotel & accommodation)


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good working knowledge of office procedures and administrative functions, and Bi-Mission Offices/Agencies and their hierarchy. Ability to research and interpret Federal and Department regulations located in the Foreign Affairs Manual and Foreign Acquisitions Regulations. Familiar with local Indonesian laws and regulations related to Travel and Immigration is required

Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Minimum of 2 years of college level course study.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge in English and Bahasa Indonesia in speaking/reading/writing. This will be tested

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
