SECTA5’s Cartographer SaaS platform is designed to help enterprises consolidate, contextualise and automate the remediation of their vulnerabilities, greatly improving cyber defence efficiency.

A startup rooted in technical excellence, SECTA5 is founded by a team of highly experienced ethical hackers to develop this next-generation Vulnerability Management (VM) platform.

SECTA5 aims to help organisations unify the decentralised landscape of cyber vulnerability management and allow enterprises to defend themselves pre-emptively and more effectively.

Job Description

• You will be part an early-stage startup and will have the opportunity to be involved in building the foundations of the company’s software product
• You will get the chance to be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle
• You will get the chance to write new code instead of performing maintenance on legacy software
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems.
• This will be a full remote, contract role based out of Indonesia

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience including self-driven projects of sufficient depth).
• Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Experience with and is confident with handling Python.
• Experience with the following tech stack is not strictly required as long as candidates demonstrate attitude and aptitude to learn in a semi-guided but mostly autonomous environment: ReactJS, MongoDB, FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, Git
• Understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Comfortable with communications in English language, and is able to clearly convey technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• Able to accept that the nature of work in start-ups may be rigorous and unpredictable, but also rewarding and technically stimulating at the same time.
