National Head of Sales [Mama's Choice]

Responsibilities

• Drive a the PnL of the Mama’s Choice offline business in Indonesia, identify levers to grow the top line and to reduce costs
• Develop and implement a comprehensive offline distribution strategy in alignment with the companys goals and objectives.
• Identify potential offline distribution channels such as retail stores, specialty baby shops, department stores, and other relevant outlets.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to optimize sales and distribution.
• Lead a team of sales representatives, merchandisers, and account managers to effectively execute the offline distribution strategy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns and in-store marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and increase footfall.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, market share, and distribution efficiency, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure adequate stock levels at all offline distribution points to meet customer demand, coordinating with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management.
• Conduct regular store visits and audits to evaluate brand visibility, product placement, and overall customer experience, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and new market opportunities, recommending innovative ideas to enhance offline distribution effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and driven personality, proven track record in executing complex projects
• At least 5 years experience in offline distribution management in the consumer goods industry, preferably in the mum and baby products sector.
• Strong knowledge of offline distribution channels, retail operations, and sales strategies.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully expanding offline distribution networks, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with distributors and retail partners
• Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to achieve desired results
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbals
• Highly organized with strong project management abilities, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for the mum & baby products industry and a genuine interest in providing quality products to parents and caregivers
• Ability to represent the company and present in front of senior clients and investors
