About the role:
The Commercial Strategy and Growth role is responsible for supporting portfolios in commercial development activities, from strategy, Business Development, connecting to potential partners or stakeholders, and execution. My client is looking for an experienced candidate with over 10+ years of experience preferably with experience or strong exposure to start-ups or the technology sector. The role will also support the continuous upgrade and improvement of my clients Value Creation team
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage. Conduct ongoing analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with portfolios to understand their business goals, challenges, and market positioning. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to optimize their commercial operations.
- Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration. Business Development and Partnerships:
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships for portfolio to drive their revenue growth. Develop and execute plans to expand market reach and enhance client relationships.
- Oversee the development of proposals and presentations for business development / partnerships activities to ensure smooth and successful business collaboration.
- Building and managing relationships with a select group of executives from various tech companies, government, and private sectors
- Evaluate financial performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, cost analysis, and ROI assessment for various strategic initiatives.
- Minimum over 10+ years’ experience, previous sales or partnerships development professional experience is a plus
- Bachelor Degree from top tier university, Master Degree in relevant field will be considered an advantage
- Fluency in English - both written and oral
- Passionate in digital industry, investment, entrepreneurial
- Very strong work ethic, strong communicator and fast learner
- Excellent people skills, natural networker with strong empathy
- Self-motivated individual
- A strong commercial awareness, impeccable presentation as well as drive, determination, and that most elusive quality that is belief.
- Strong Project Management skills. Master of managing many and varied processes and project responsibilities, keeping them all moving forward, while delivering high-quality results on time.
