Boat Engine Mechanic - KKM

Komodo Resort are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engine repair and maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of our boat and vessels.

Responsibilities :

1. Engine Diagnostics :
- Conduct through diagnostic assessments of boat engine to identity issues and malfunctions.
-Use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot engine problems.

2.Repairs and Maintenance:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on boat engines, including replacing defective parts and components.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

3. Routine Inspections:
- Conduct routine inspections of engines to identity potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Recommend and implement preventive maintenance measures.

4. Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts inventory.
- Provide documentation for completed work and recommendations for future maintenance.

5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other mechanics and team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Communicate effectively with boat captains and operational staff regarding engine performance.

6. Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure that all work meets safety and environmental standards.

7. Emergency Repairs:
- Be available for emergency repairs and respond promptly to unexpected engine issues.
- Prioritize and address urgent repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Boat engine Mechanic or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and associated components.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training in marine engine mechanics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in boat engine repair.

• Labuan Bajo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• SMA/SMU/SMK (Preferred)

Experience:

• Boat Engine Mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certification or training in marine engine mechanic (Preferred)
