Policy Analyst

PT Semar Sentinel Indonesia is actively looking for a Policy Analyst.

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Participate in daily and weekly deliverables on specific issues.
• Contribute to comprehensive reports and provide analysis/insights on specific issues (economy and business, security, defence, aerospace).
• Participate in research projects.
• Provide analysis and key takeaways on current issues to meet the needs of our clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Broad knowledge of economic, trade, political, security, defence and/or aerospace trends in Indonesia.
• In-depth knowledge on policies and decision-making process that could affect local dynamics in Indonesia.
• High agility and adaptability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced working environment.
• Strong understanding and commitment to research ethics and integrity.
• Critical thinking skill to analyse emerging issues in Indonesia with both micro and macro perspectives.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with high level of attention to detail, to ensure accuracy in research findings and to avoid errors in data interpretation.
• Solid understanding in various methodologies to analyse data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Laptop/PC.
