Job Requirement Our company is seeking an experienced Head of Database to lead our database team in the payment gateway industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database management systems and will have extensive experience in leading and deploying projects. The Head of Database will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our database infrastructure, while also managing a team of database administrators and engineers. Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in database administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the payment gateway industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of database management systems, including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud-based database platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of database administrators and engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of database security best practices.
