High Performance Computing and Network Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our HPC infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance applications and network solutions to support our demanding workloads.

What You Will Do At Snap Innovations?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Rust or Golang.
• Optimize code for performance and scalability on HPC clusters.
• Work with network engineers to design and implement high-speed, low-latency network solutions for HPC workloads.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of HPC cluster infrastructure, including operating systems, schedulers, and resource management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the HPC environment.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in HPC technologies and programming languages.
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers and scientists to achieve project goals.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in developing high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in Rust or Golang, with a strong understanding of concurrency and parallelism concepts.
• Experience with HPC systems, including cluster architectures, schedulers, and resource management tools (e.g., MPI, OpenMP).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet).
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
