Our company designs about 100 new/reformulated/repackaged consumer personal care products for launches in the US/EU markets each month. The products fall within the skincare, haircare, bath/body, aromatherapy, and other wellness categories.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead, develop and direct the creative team. If you have a good pulse on the beauty and wellness industry and a niche of coming up with creative product design ideas for the US/EU markets, then you are the perfect fit for this role.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing multiple tasks and collaborating with internal departments in a fast-paced setting. You should be eager to play a key role in maintaining the organizations interest and the momentum of our 7-10 persons team of designers and writers while also being prepared to offer creative contributions. Majority of the creative work revolves around packaging design.
Responsibilities
- Manage all creative work direction, intakes, assignment, and the execution and completion of all creative requests inline with monthly/weekly goals.
- Create daily tasks for the creative team and provide a clear guidance before they begin their tasks to ensure high quality deliverables within given time.
- Implement Project Management App like Zoho, Trello and etc to improve efficiency, productivity, and team communication.
- Gather assets and provide early-stage creative setup to better assist designers and writers.
- Implement an efficient file storage and file naming system.
- Ensure files marked ‘FINAL’ have been fully checked and are ready for print or other executions.
- Management of designer sources for fonts and images to prevent copyright issues.
- Strategically prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on deadlines requirements, designers speed and capability.
- Lead daily Morning Meetings and consistent daily communication with the creative team.
- Have creative design capabilities to correct and improve designer’s work.
- Ensure timely delivery of daily work and a reduction in ‘careless’ revisions.
- Create accountability provisions for continuous sub-par work.
- Resolve or escalate issues or blocks when encountered.
- Regularly monitor team member work capacity, efficiency, and productivity.
- Hiring/Firing of creative team members and new member onboarding.
- Manage creative completion calendars for packaging, websites, and social media.
- Assist with website product management and assortment. This includes highlighting or demoting products to be featured or shown within categories and the homepage.
- Assist to create assets for social media, such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Report updates to marketing and executive members.
- Other tasks and duties per business needs.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Experience: 2+ years in creative team project management.
· Talents: Packaging Design, Web Design, Print Ready Files, Social Media
· Skills: Styling, color management, copywriting.
· People Management: Ability to nurture, communicate and collaborate.
· Project Management: Excellent time management, detail oriented.
· File Management: Excellent folder and file organization skills.
· Trends: Knowledge of beauty, colours and beauty packaging trends.
· Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
· Adobe: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign skills.
Working Hours
· Flexibility to work 8.30am-6pm IST, Mon-Sat, with additional availability to accommodate deadlines/time zone differences as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rp11,245,300 - Rp15,646,600 per month
