What youll do:
Based in Jakarta, as an Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing all aspects of our clients financial operations. From developing effective tax strategies to ensuring compliance with various taxation laws, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will also be responsible for managing cash flow, controlling daily accounting operations, collaborating with auditors, and providing expert advice to your team. Your ability to develop solutions for outstanding payments and claim issues will be crucial in streamlining the companys accounting processes.

• Develop and implement tax strategies to achieve accurate tax reporting
• Coordinate with tax consultants and government officials regarding various tax matters
• Ensure effective tax planning is carried out to ensure compliance and optimisation of taxation expense for the company
• Prepare and review tax returns and reports, including corporate income tax and sales tax filing
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial reporting
• Control day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Develop solutions or guidance to resolve payment outstanding, claim issues and other bottlenecks in the tax & accounting processes
• Provide expertise and advise regarding tax & accounting operations to the team and stakeholders
• Collaborate with appointed auditors to facilitate audits
• Drive follow up actions regarding audit findings

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accounting and Tax Manager position brings a wealth of experience in both tax management and financial reporting. With at least eight years leadership roles within accounting, you have proven your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. Your strong analytical skills enable you to solve problems efficiently while your excellent leadership abilities allow you to manage teams effectively. A deep understanding of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards is essential for this role.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification is required
• Proven experience of a minimum of eight years in tax management, financial reporting, and accounting leadership roles
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
