Finance Manager

What youll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing accounting services and managing the Business Finance department. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing monthly revenue reports, coordinating external audits, and managing day-to-day cash flow. Your role will also involve monitoring the financial performance of the Practice Group, assisting with ad hoc projects, and leading change within the organisation. • Provide efficient accounting and reporting functions
• Ensure accurate financial records are maintained in accordance with firm policies
• Prepare monthly revenue reports from timesheets, including calculation of provisions
• Review monthly expenses report and actual versus budget reports together with its analysis
• Coordinate the external audit and prepare all schedules for financial reporting in accordance with statutory requirements
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, payment approval via bank transfer, including liaison with Bank Relationship Managers regarding banking facilities
• Monitor short- and long-term financial performance of Practice Group including close monitoring of the WIP and debtor position
• Assist with ad hoc projects as requested

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in finance and accounting roles. You should hold a degree qualification along with CA/CPA certification. Your detailed knowledge of financial accounting will be crucial in this role, as will your fluency in English. Experience leading a large transactional/process-focused finance team is essential, as is experience in change management. If you have experience working in a Partnership structure, this would be an advantage.

• Degree qualified with CA/CPA qualification
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in related finance and accounting roles; working experience in the professional services industry would be an advantage
• Detailed financial accounting knowledge developed through a role such as Financial Controller
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated experience leading a large transactional/process-focused finance team
• Experienced in change management
• Experience working in a Partnership structure would be an advantage
