Location: Indonesia Department: Commercial Location: Indonesia Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing functional role and play a vital operational role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring assortment planning meets the business profitability expectation. He/She will be handling supply chain activities (from A-Z) in the region of Indonesia and reporting to the Sourcing VP.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Manager works as a strategic role in product development, sourcing and negotiation. He/She also plays a vital tactical operational sourcing role in the day-to-day operations.
  • Identify and engage with potential suppliers to support the company’s procurement needs.
  • Execute RFQ, products NPI stage, deliveries & fulfillment from suppliers.
  • Generate cost savings and source/develop products directly with local manufacturers based on our best-selling item lists, result is to win on project bidding.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with timeline and result driven mentality.
  • Ensure factories will execute orders from demand planning, monitor production process and ensure the production is delivered on time in full.
  • Perform on-site quality check and inspection for orders based on our requirements and standards.
  • Any other tasks assign by superior as deem necessary from time to time
Job Requirements
  • University degree (minimum Bachelor), preferably in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or other relevant area, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of work experience in Sourcing or Seller facing roles.
  • Experience in project management, manufacturing and quality is considered a plus.
  • Experience in apparel, FMCG or Softline categories is considered a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills - can persuade others by using costing analysis, foster a collaborative atmosphere during negotiations and reach positive agreements.
  • Familiar with Indonesian industrial chain and able to find direct factory resource from different channels.
  • Target-oriented and focus on reaching results effectively
  • A creative team player with collaborative and networking skills
  • Strategic thinking, creative problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Self-directed being able to formulate activities and direction
  • Well-versed with proven ability with MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, able to communicate with local partners on a daily basis.
  • Willing to travel (50%-75% time based in Indonesia).
  • Work with integrity, candidates are required to hold the highest standard on work ethics.
  • Tri-Lingual language capabilities is a strong plus (Indonesian + English and (or) Indonesian) to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and teams.
