Senior Accounting Associate

This role also involves collaborating with different teams, contributing to the development of internal controls, and potentially guiding and training junior staff. Responsibilities

• Involvement in monthly financial closing process, including ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and financial report preparations
• Responsible for the accuracy of general ledger and financial statements
• Ensure all the monthly accounts and supporting schedules are prepared in a timely and accurate manners
• Involvement in preparation of statutory financial statements
• Analyze financial impacts of new business cycle/products and ensure the appropriate recordings in financial statements
• Analyze the effect of accounting practices and studies regulations/guidance to ensure the appropriate application of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS
• Assist with Financial Audit, to ensure satisfactory audit result and compliance
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Assist in development and documentation of accounting policies, financial processes and procedures
• Make recommendations for improvements as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Robust knowledge of Indonesian GAAP
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial closing cycle, financial reporting, consolidation and analyzing and enhancing financial systems and controls
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated to meet and exceed expectations
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of statutory regulations such as OJK and Bappepti is a plus
• Experience in Big 4 Accounting Firm is a plus
• Experience and knowledge in Financial Services industry is a plus
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Proficiency in English
