Your Focus

As EH&S Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the management and development of the EHS program and maintain compliance with legislative and corporate requirements.
This position will be based in Karawang site and will report to EH&S Manager

How You Will Contribute

• Ensure that all legislative and corporate requirements are implemented and maintained at plant level.
• Assume ultimate responsibility to ensure employees and facility under your control work in accordance with company OH&S, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain and review the site’s EH&S Management System (EMS & OH&SMS) to the Corporate standards and local regulations.
• Ensure that handling and response to emergencies and crisis management are carried out effectively.
• Maintain all records and monitoring programs related EH&S aspects to achieve compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.
• Support in the execution of EH&S Capital Projects and EH&S expense items.
• Implement & evaluate contractor safety management system (contractor safety prequalification, supporting contract bid & preparation, orientation, work coordination, regular audit, and evaluation)
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on regular reporting (Environment reporting/SIMPEL, UKL UPL, P2K3 activities, and other EH&S mandatory reporting).
• Control EH&S competencies & training (set up regular/monthly internal training aligned with global policy, maintain compliance/certification training)
• Fully involved in the EH&S audit process, both internal and external audits
• Take on other duties as assigned by superior

What you will need to be successful

• Minimum D3 degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Environmental Management/Technology, Occupational Safety/Health or Environmental Health. Bachelor degree’s has an advantage.
• Prefer has AK3 Umum from Kemenakertrans
• 2-3 years experience working as EH&S in a large MNC, preferably food and chemical company would be a plus
• Experienced in build and implementing contractor safety management systems is a must.
• Possess a high level of personal integrity, agile, strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong enthusiasm & passionate to EH&S aspects.
• Excellent command of English; analytical and strong interpersonal skills; proficiency in computer applications.
• Willing to be located at Karawang Barat
