Assistant Banquet and Boat Manager | AYANA Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is currently seeking an Assistant Banquet and Boat Manager for their luxurious AYANA Komodo resort located in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of banquet operations and overseeing the resorts boat activities. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

• Assist in the planning and execution of all banquet events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experience
• Collaborate with other department managers to coordinate and deliver seamless events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties
• Manage and supervise banquet staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction
• Oversee boat operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards for both banquet and boat operations
• Assist in conducting regular staff training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and Boat Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet operations, preferably in a luxury resort setting
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities in both English and Indonesian
• Experience in boat operations, including scheduling and maintenance, is preferred
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest concerns professionally
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Indonesian citizen or valid work permit for Indonesia
