This trainee program is known for developing world class, high performing Flavor chemists to enter into the flavorist profession. The main focus of the 3-4 years training program is to develop creative skills through practical training in formulating the major flavor types and by working on customer projects. The training program consist of 3 phases and involves raw material recognition, flavor creation techniques, basic training in flavor technologies, all application areas and basics of analysis of flavors & foods. You will gain valuable insights into R&D, production, quality control departments, sales and marketing. You will also gain an international experience and be supported / mentored during this period by experienced flavorists.

• Learn Flavorist School phase curriculum.
• Support senior flavorists for preparing small experimental samples by closely following recipes developed by the Flavorist and arranging needed tasting.
• Measure specifications of the flavors.
• Manage the laboratory’s inventory of flavoring raw materials, ensuring all are stored in correct locations and are within their respective shelf life.

• Bachelors degree of Science (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or Food Engineering/Technology); a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a Flavor lab of a similar position.
• Must pass IFFs internal Sensory Assessment Exam
• Great communication, logical manner, creativity and innovation, analytical thinker, good cognitive retention, high threshold for pressure, work independently, maintaining timelines and meeting deadlines and have excellent attendance.
• Flexibility to travel & train.
• Advanced English
