POSITION PURPOSE

Supply Chain Head - Indonesia is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations within UPL Group Company Indonesia. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of processes to ensure seamless supply chain management.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY

• Design and implement supply chain strategies that cater to UPL Indonesia product portfolio including and NPP products.
• Optimize the supply chain to meet the needs of Indonesian farmers and distributors, ensuring affordability and accessibility.
• Manage an extensive distribution network to ensure products reach rural and remote areas.
• Partner with third-party logistics providers to overcome infrastructure challenges in Indonesia.
• Leverage seasonal and regional agricultural trends to forecast demand for products like pesticides, herbicides, and NPP solutions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages, particularly during the planting and harvesting seasons.
• Source raw materials and packaging from reliable suppliers while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Build partnerships with local suppliers to support UPLs sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian agricultural regulations, including import/export laws and environmental standards.
• Align supply chain processes with UPLs sustainability goals, such as reducing carbon footprints and minimizing waste.
• Work closely with UPLs sales and marketing teams to ensure farmers have timely access to necessary products.
• Gather feedback from distributors and farmers to continuously improve the supply chain.
