Senior Accounting Associate

Role

AwanTunai is looking for a Senior Accounting Associate who will oversee and manage financial processes, prepare complex financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to the organization.

• Manage and execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring the accuracy of their work.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, offering insights into financial performance and assisting in strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Play a pivotal role in audits, liaising with auditors and implementing audit recommendations.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to enhance financial practices.

Responsibilities

• 
  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Having a master degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in progressively responsible accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to various stakeholders.
• Must be fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is desirable.
• Brevet A & B and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in handling financial information.
