General Accounting - Finance Associate

Job Summary:
The Finance Associate in General Accounting is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial activities of the organization. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Generate financial analysis reports to support decision-making processes.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial records.
• Expense Management: Monitor and track expenses, analyze variances, and report on discrepancies. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and operations, to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred.

Pay: Rp7,000,000 - Rp8,000,000 per month
