Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:


  • Full Time (40 hours per week)


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position: No Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No Duties

Under the supervisor of the Corruption and Governance Political Officer, this position ensures that all individuals and security units subject to human rights Leahy Vetting Law are vetted in accordance with US law. To this end, this position coordinates day-to-day activities within the US Embassy interagency community and ensures that relevant embassy personnel are aware of new developments in Leahy Vetting requirements. This position manages batch submissions in the International Vetting and Security Tracking cloud-based system (INVESTc) and ensures that results are accurate and returned in a timely manner. This position maintains records related to Leahy Vetting in Political Section shared drive and in accordance with US law. The position corresponds regularly with Leahy Vetting unit within the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Affairs (DRL) in Washington DC and with security-focused agencies at post. The position may also involve some contact with working and mid-level human rights activists. Extensive internal contacts within the Embassy and regular contact with Leahy vetting team and advisors in Washington DC.


Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:


At least three years of administrative or professional office environment experience is required.


(Please note that one credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours.)

Education Requirements:

a minimum of two years of full time post-secondary study at college or university is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Fluent in speaking/reading/writing in English is required. This may be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Indonesia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
