The Control Tower team at TikTok Shop operates at the intersection of technology and business, providing critical insights that shape our supply chain and business strategies. This position will contribute to:
  • Enhanced Decision-Making: By ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful data visualizations and reports, the Control Tower Manager will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions that drive the business forward.
  • Operational Efficiency: Through optimizing data processing workflows and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, this role will contribute to smoother and more efficient operations within the IBP department.
  • Performance Monitoring: The Control Tower Manager will ensure robust KPI tracking and reporting, facilitating a clear understanding of performance and areas needing attention.
  • Strategic Initiatives: By identifying and leading process improvement projects, the role will contribute to long-term strategic goals, driving innovation and best practices within the department.
  • Data Management:
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of data, ensuring its integrity, accuracy, and security.
  • Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Data Processing:
  • Supervise data processing activities, utilizing SQL, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure data processing is timely and accurate, optimizing workflows for efficiency.
  • Data Visualization:
  • Lead the creation of actionable data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Ensure visualizations effectively communicate insights to various stakeholders.
  • KPI Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including Availability, DoI, Forecast Accuracy, Unproductive Stock, and Near Expired Stock.
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
  • Lead RCA efforts for underperforming KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address root causes.
  • Document and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Action Follow-Up:
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions based on RCA findings.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure successful implementation and track the effectiveness of these actions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Control Tower and IBP department.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage and mentor the Control Tower team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure team members are proficient in necessary tools and methodologies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide developmental feedback.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in supply chain and data analytics
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, and Looker.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to process complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Leadership Abilities: At least 5 years of team leading experience. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing team.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in RCA and Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
