Accounting Jr Manager

This role is a key member of the accounting team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will....

Financial Reporting:

• In charge for accounting and treasury activities in Loreal Indonesia,
• Responsible for Group reporting (balance sheet, cash flow and tax forecast) with Shared Service Team
• Conduct regular review on financial statement (Balance Sheet).

Month-End Close:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met (will work with Shared Service Team).
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Ensure Accounting and Treasury processes are in compliance with internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting pronouncements and regulatory changes.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist with audits, both internal and external.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
• Collaborate with other departments on accounting-related matters.
• Acts as Key User/Champion for some Finance tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Blackline) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willing to be contracted for 6 months.
