• This is a leadership role reporting to the Sun Life Indonesia Chief Executive Officer. The role holder will be responsible for leading and growing the Agency & Sharia distribution channel at SLI, including leading locally any strategic initiatives in conjunction with other relevant stakeholders. This would include leading relationship management with our Agencies, business partners, delivering on our sales and profitability targets, developing Agency & Sharia distribution team and bench strength, as well as working with the rest of the SLI senior Management team to deliver SLI business objectives.

• Ability to manage distribution strategies and client relationships

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

• University level education in business, finance, actuarial science or equivalent
• 15+ years in leadership or executive positions, Agency business and relevant life insurance industry experience
• Completion of CIP/FCIP designation, financial or other relevant life insurance experience

• Strategy: Responsible for development and execution of market strategies in Agency & Sharia Distribution, contributing to overall company revenue goals, as well as product line profitability targets and financial milestones
• Develop strategies and lead the initiative to further grow agency productivity, headcount, training, recruitment and culture
• Growth: Accountable for sales target for assigned business lines and directs activities in national sales, including sales target and programs and distribution policies.
• developing a strong Agency & Sharia Distribution leadership team, building a strong agency & sharia distribution channel and a professional and ethical agency & sharia distribution force.
• Gradually expand the agency & sharia distribution scope, thus reinforcing our market penetration rate and positioning SLI as the leading life insurer in Indonesia.
