Key Responsibilities:

• Industrialization:

  • Manage the introduction of production equipment using the IPROM process.
  • Oversee the development and integration of assembly lines and equipment with suppliers.
  • Design, validate, and approve small tools and supplier proposals.
  • Define acceptance criteria and conduct pre-acceptance and acceptance tests for new equipment and lines.
  • Conduct trials on production lines and prepare detailed reports.
  • Develop action plans for FDPR (Final Design Production Review) readiness.
  • Collect and analyze equipment and process performance data.
  • Propose and implement a Process Validation Plan (PVP).
  • Contribute to PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Control Plan creation.

• Mass Production Support:

  • Monitor and improve QCDM (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Manufacturing) metrics.
  • Evaluate equipment performance, focusing on continuous optimization.
  • Drive cycle-time reduction initiatives to lower costs related to investments, materials, and labor.
  • Update production routings in the information system and ensure SPV (Standard Production Validation) compliance.
  • Provide training and support to production technicians (problem-solving, troubleshooting).
  • Collaborate with suppliers for improvements and ongoing support.
  • Participate in SPV workshops and APU QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) activities.

• Standardization:

  • Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards as developed by Standard Owners.
  • Approve proposed standard changes from sites.
  • Promote and apply relevant standards (PG, site-specific, or corporate) within your domain.
  • Ensure adherence to SPV rules.

• Environmental & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Valeo Group's safety and environmental procedures.
  • Maintain 5S standards and promptly report any issues.
  • Report any safety rule violations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience minimal 3 years: in manufacturing, industrialization, or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation.
• Familiarity with IPROM and SPV systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and 5S standards is a plus.
