The Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all human resources aspects of our business within the Indonesia, with a specific focus on hiring and managing the talent that is required for our ongoing expansion. You will provide HR Management, consistently update the HRMI systems, and take part in Mad Monkey’s global HR planning. You will also be responsible for overall talent management and training programs of Philippine operations.
The Regional Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Global Human Resources Director and the Regional Operations Manager of the Philippines.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Training & Development: You will be responsible for local training delivery and ensuring that the company continues to provide excellent training and education for our team members in the Philippines.
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent levels of staff engagement as well as a clear path for progression and career development for each of our team members. You will be responsible for identifying training and skills gaps within the organization.
You will be responsible for ensuring every new staff member will have their induction to the business and will receive basic health and safety training in line with that expected of a leading global hospitality brand.
Human Resources Management & Compliance: You will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date HRM system, records, and legal employment compliance for all team members.
You will be responsible for working with the finance team to ensure payroll requirements are met, holidays and vacation days are tracked, and that the company exceeds our legal commitments for team member employment in the Philippines.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: You will be responsible for identifying skills and resource gaps within the business and directly recruiting the best team members to fill those gaps, preferably from our existing team members where possible, or else by leading a global search when recruitment is required from outside of the business.
Specifically, you will lead the recruitment and induction across the business for new hostel openings planned in the Philippines.
Planning and Reporting: You will be responsible for working with the Global HR Director to plan and implement company-wide projects that improve our business performance. You will also be responsible for the quarterly reporting of HRMI performance metrics that include engagement, retention goals, inductions, staff progression, and team satisfaction to ensure that we maintain a healthy, happy, and engaged team that is invested in our business values.
Internal Communications & Incentives: You will be responsible for leading internal staff communications to ensure that all staff members understand our vision and business values and are engaged in the successful development and growth of the business.
You will also be responsible for defining company-wide incentives and benefits that reward progression and commitment to our values.
QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Behavioral Science or equivalent.
- Proven HR experience in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of end-to-end HR Functions.
- Knowledge of Indonesia Labor Law and governmental compliance requirements.
- Proficient in computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of payroll process, timekeeping, compensation plans, and benefit administration
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and geographically diverse organizational structure;
- HR Certification is not required but is an advantage.
- Must be results-oriented, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be highly organized, able to work independently and lead a team.
- Must be willing to travel for company activities and engagements.
