OFFICE LOCATIONThe position is flexible in terms of location within the TNC Asia Pacific region, in countries where TNC may hire staff, with preference given to Mongolia and Indonesia. There is no sponsorship for relocation and support for immigration and visa.

WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHERAsia Pacific Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) specialist oversees relational database programs, including GIS, and provides technical expertise to Conservancy staff. He/she coordinates relational database activities between internal and external sources.
AP MEL Specialist designs and maintains centralized database, participates in conservation planning at various levels, develops a process system for projects' MEL, develops methods for mapping and classifying ecosystems and data management, including developing and maintaining all documentation for data and data management. He/she gathers data from different sources and is keeping them up to date for analysis. He/she performs data analysis; designs and produces advanced complex queries and professional reports, processes spatial and other relational data sets derived from cartographic and tabular source material, provides software support. AP MEL Specialist develops and delivers training to staff individually and in groups, produces graphic products, maps, and reports. They develop and maintain database products library and compiles, assembles and maintains land protection, biodiversity and management information from various sources.
