Our Client, a Global football brand that runs in both UK and Nigeria is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource/Admin officer to join its team. The successful candidate will provide both Human resources and administrative support to the management team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the academy and report directly to the Head of Business Operations
Location - Ikorodu,Lagos
Level of Position - Professional
Mode of work - Full Time /Onsite /Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
- Administrative Tasks: Respond to phone calls, emails, and visitors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students, staff, and academy activities
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and other materials as needed
- Human Resource Functions: Assist with conducting HR audit on existing HR functions e.g recruitment and selection, policy development, Training and development, Performance management, Employee relations, onboarding of new staff members etc .and implement developmental initiatives that optimizes existing HR systems.
- Maintain employee records, including contracts, benefits, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate staff training and development programs
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for teams and staff
- Maintain the academys facilities, equipment, and supplies
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the academy, parents, and external stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with local football associations, clubs, and other organizations
Qualifications/Requirements
- HND/Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in human resources, administration, or a related field
- Experience working in a football academy or sports organization is an advantage
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
