Team Introduction TikTok is looking for an enthusiastic Tax Intern to support its fast-growing business. This role will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The ideal candidate should have experience with Indonesian tax regulations and demonstrate strong technical tax skills. They will collaborate closely with internal finance and tax teams to support the companys business operations and day-to-day activities seamlessly. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for daily day-to-day tax matters in Jakarta, Indonesia region. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing WHT calculations (payment and reporting) in a timely manner.
• Distributing Article 21, 23, 26, and 4(2) WHT slips for PT Tokopedia and its subsidiaries.
• Preparing, reviewing, and processing reimbursement for prepaid Article 23 tax for Tokopedia and GTL entities, including payment to sellers.
• Preparing VAT output import format templates for PT Tokopedia and its subsidiaries.
• Responding to internal and external tax inquiries, including discussions and communications related to WHT slips and tax invoices, across all communication channels.

Qualifications Qualifications Minimum qualifications:

• Enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student at a reputable public or private university with a major in accounting/banking/finance or in a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 months of prior experience in a tax internship role.
• Possess good communication skill and willing to support cross-functionally.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior work or internship experience in the technology setup is strongly preferred.
• Self-motivated and have strong ownership.
