JOB PURPOSE

• Supporting QC Manager by performs review, supervision, and analysis properly and correctly following defined rules in the purpose of implementation Bayer and Authority regulations related to the Microbiology areas.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow safety regulations for each stage of work and play a role in supervising each other in terms of cleanliness and tidiness of the laboratory area in order to fulfill HSE aspects according to HSE assignment and responsibilities.
• Report to superior if there is any issue aroused during sampling/testing in timely manner.
• Ensure that only valid SOPs available in the laboratory, maintain its completeness and manage the storage properly.
• Perform additional tasks given by superior as necessary.
• Actively contribute in Operational Excellence and reduction Complexity program with ideas of efficiency and cost reduction.
• Support improvement, development, transfer and validation of manufacturing process and analytical method by performing supervision during the analytical process.
• Writing and reviewing of SOPs, protocols and technical reports. Further, continuously reviews the SOPs used in this field to be up-dated as required to be in line with the up-dated quality guide and Bayer specifications.
• Involve in hiring, training and evaluating performance of direct report and assuring the productivities of all direct reports.
• According to his/her functions handling inspection and supervision during testing of bulk, finished goods/environmental monitoring/ utilities by ensuring that the processes are conducted according to the established procedures. Further, continuously reviews the SOPs used in this field to be up-dated as required to be in line with the up-dated quality guide and Bayer specifications.
• Performing analytical transfer from lab giver includes analytical development and ensure appropriate related documents are available and support Development Team by coordinate any analysis activities to ensure every project fulfill its target timely.
• Support QA in releasing process of incoming materials, intermediate product and finished goods by providing analytical results.
• Support QA in product quality review and supplier performance review by providing analytical results and its trend when necessary.
• Any OOS and out of trend observed during analysis reported to QC Manager and/or Head of Quality to take action and decision and perform laboratory investigation and provide monthly basis report testing activities to the QC Manager.
• In cooperation with related functions, supervise and setup priority of testing to be performed, ensure that QC instrument used is within calibration period and provided by preventive maintenance when necessary.
• Controlling and managing availability and stock of media, culture, reference standard and other laboratory supplies for microbiology laboratory.
• Supporting QC Manager in terms of managing laboratory capacity arrangement and planning.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree major in Pharmacist/Microbiology
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret Bayer guideline and global guideline, writing report, business correspondence and procedure manual in English.
• Ability to manage good work atmosphere among internal team and with other teams.
• Having experience in 2 years supervisory level at similar position or 3 years as a minimum in Microbiology and environmental monitoring
• Understands know how on current GMP as well as other relevant national and international regulation for pharmaceutical products (GMP codes)
• Computer literate for standard office operational.
• Skilled to work within an international team and has ability to work within team.
• Be able to resist any influence, which would hamper management decision making
