Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is seeking a dedicated and experienced PE Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education instruction to primary level students, fostering their physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate PE lessons for primary level students.
• Teach fundamental movement skills, sports techniques, and strategies to enhance students physical literacy and well-being.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and strive for personal improvement.
• Incorporate Islamic values and principles into PE lessons, emphasizing character development and ethical behavior.
• Manage and organize equipment and facilities for PE classes, ensuring safety and proper use of equipment.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote a respectful learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents on their physical development and participation in PE activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE with other subject areas and school initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English is required; possession of an IELTS or TOEFL certification is advantageous.
• Experience teaching PE at the primary level is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and administrative skills.
• Familiarity with 21st-century teaching skills and educational technology tools.
• Experience working in a national or international school setting is an advantage.
