Division Summary IDG’s International Education Division supports education development around the world by strengthening education policy, management and practice in order to achieve measurable improvement in teaching and learning. From our well-established reputation in education system strengthening, to innovative work in early grade assessment and learning, RTI is improving education quality, relevance and efficiency through implementation of projects funded by USAID, The LEGO Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and other donors and clients.
Project Summary

The USAID Learn Together Activity (LTA) Follow-On will continue to support Tajikistan’s Ministry of Education and Science’s (MoES) capacity to develop and implement cohesive primary education policies and programs, including system strengthening and public-private partnerships. The primary goal is improve basic education skills for students in grades 1-4.

Responsibilities: RTI is soliciting CVs/resumes of qualified technical experts in the following fields:

• Teacher Management and Teacher Policy
• Teacher Professional Development
• Mathematics
• STEAM Integration (Primary Grades) (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)
• STEAM Curriculum Development
• School Leadership and Management
• Education Policy and System Strengthening
• Research, Assessments, and Evaluation
• Counseling/Student Support services/Psychology
• Other: Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years or a Master’s degree plus 8 years experience
• Deep work experience in Tajikistan
• Experience in supervision and management roles
• Experience on education programming within Tajikistan targeting basic education
• Experience with USAID or other major donors strongly preferred
• Familiarity with, and comprehension of, core concepts in inclusive education, early reading, communications, or education sector public-private partnerships preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural environment
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills and able to perform effectively within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Commitment to inclusive programming that encourages full participation of individuals regardless of gender, disability status, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or other marginalized status
• Oral and written fluency in English, Tajik, Russian, and other local languages
