1. Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience managing large-scale commercial plantations.
2. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Forestry, Plantation Management, or a related field.
3. A Master's degree in Agribusiness or Plantation Management is a plus but not required.
4. Demonstrated success in setting up new plantations from scratch is highly preferred.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee large field operations.
6. Strong understanding of agronomy and plantation management (experience with vanilla is not required, training will be provided).
7. Willingness to be based full-time in North Sulawesi.
8. Preferred but not required: knowledge of tropical spice crops such as clove, nutmeg, or cinnamon.
9. Practical problem-solving skills, hands-on mindset, and ability to deliver results under challenging field conditions.

1. Lead the establishment and development of a commercial vanilla plantation (50-200 hectares).
2. Manage all phases of plantation development: land preparation, planting, maintenance, harvest, and post-harvest.
3. Design and implement crop rotation schedules and long-term productivity plans.
4. Recruit, train, and manage a plantation workforce.
5. Oversee farm infrastructure development (irrigation, access, shade trees, drainage, etc.).
6. Ensure high-yield, sustainable farming practices and compliance with quality standards.
7. Monitor crop health, pests, and disease control.
8. Manage the plantation budget, inputs, and expenses with strict cost efficiency.
9. Report on progress and coordinate closely with head office management.
10. Build systems and processes to support long-term commercial success of the plantation.
