About the role

PT SEC Indo Industrial is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Staff to join our team in Kendal Regency, Central Java. As a Procurement Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient sourcing of goods and services required for the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression within the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Report to Supply Chain Manager.
2. Identify, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms
4. Manage purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to minimise disruptions to production
5. Liaise with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and priorities
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all procurement activities
7. Continuously explore new opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs
8. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
2. Preference for having experience in chemical procurement.
3. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
5. Proficient in using procurement software and other relevant IT tools
6. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
7. Familiarity with Indonesian procurement regulations and best practices
